About Destination

Vaishali is an ancient city located in the present-day Vaishali district of Bihar, India. It holds immense historical and religious significance, being one of the world’s earliest republics and an important center during the time of Lord Buddha and Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. Vaishali is renowned as the place where Buddha delivered his last sermon and where the Second Buddhist Council was held. It is also famous as the birthplace of Lord Mahavira.
