About Destination

Sasaram is a historic city located in the Rohtas district of Bihar, India. It is famously known as the birthplace of Sher Shah Suri, the great 16th-century ruler and founder of the Suri Empire who is credited with building the Grand Trunk Road, one of Asia’s oldest and longest major roads. Sasaram is home to several remarkable monuments, the most famous being the Sher Shah Suri Tomb, an architectural masterpiece made of red sandstone that reflects Indo-Islamic design and stands as a symbol of the city’s rich history.
