Pawapuri, also known as Pava, is a sacred town located in the Nalanda district of Bihar, India. It holds immense religious significance, especially for Jains, as it is the place where Lord Mahavira, the 24th and last Tirthankara of Jainism, attained nirvana (liberation). Pawapuri is considered one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in Jainism and attracts devotees from all over the world.
